I am holding a special fundraiser for The Autism Society of North Carolina (NC), and I am thrilled to share the details with you.  This event is not just another fundraiser; it is an endeavor that holds a special place in my heart.  We will be selling beautifully crafted soap and wax melts in the shape of trees to support the work of the Autism Society of NC.

Why This Fundraiser Matters

This initiative is exceptionally dear to me because of my beloved nephew, Elijah.  Eli was diagnosed with autism at the tender age of three.  Although he is high functioning, Eli has faced his fair share of challenges.  For instance, he did not speak until he was close to four years old.  However, since his diagnosis and with the invaluable assistance of the Autism Society of NC, Eli has truly blossomed.

For this fundraiser, we are selling handmade soap and wax melts that are creatively designed in the shape of trees.  These items are not only delightful to use but also symbolize growth and flourishing, much like the journey that individuals with autism undergo.

Our wax melts are equally exquisite.  Made from a blend of soy and paraffin wax,  these melts release a delightful fragrance that can fill your home with a fresh pine balsam fragrance, delivering a pleasant tree scent indoors without being overpowering.

 

Eli's Journey

Eli's journey exemplifies the remarkable work carried out by the Autism Society of North Carolina.  When Eli was diagnosed with autism at the age of three, his mother and family initially felt overwhelmed.  However, with the support and resources provided by the Autism Society of North Carolina, they were able to approach this new path with hope and confidence.  The organization offered Eli’s mother the support and encouragement she previously lacked.

Despite his high-functioning status, Eli had significant struggles early on.  He did not talk until he was around four years old, which was a challenging period for all of us. But with consistent therapy and support from the Autism Society of NC, Eli began to make remarkable progress.  Today, he is thriving in ways we could only dream of before.

The Autism Society of NC has been instrumental in Eli’s development, and this fundraiser is our way of giving back.  Sixty percent of each sale of these soaps and wax melts will go directly to supporting the programs and services offered by the Autism Society of NC. These programs include early intervention, educational resources, and support groups, all of which have been crucial for families like ours.
